Os números cardinais designam quantidade absoluta e são utilizados em diversas situações no nosso dia a dia.

Obs.: Quando se trata de número de telefone, não dizemos “zero”, mas sim “oh” (pronuncia-se “ou”).

How much is this doll? (Quanto custa esta boneca?)
It is U$ 299,9. (two hundred and ninety-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents). (É duzentos e noventa e nove dólares e noventa e nove centavos).
