A voz ativa em inglês (active voice) é a mais usada entre os falantes, pois ela é mais direta e clara

Active Voice is considered easier to make and understand sentences, because it’s more direct. When we use the active voice we make clear for our receiver what we are talking about. Otherwise the passive voice make the sentence imprecise. In the Active Voice is the subject the owner of the action, which means that the subject performs the action indicated by the verb. / A voz ativa é considerada mais fácil para ser construída e entendida em sentenças porque ela é mais direta. Quando usamos a voz ativa, deixamos claro para nosso interlocutor o que nós estamos falando. Por outro lado, a voz passiva pode construir uma sentença imprecisa. Na voz ativa, o sujeito é o dono da ação, ou seja, o sujeito executa a ação indicada pelo verbo.

We are going to show some examples below to explicit the structure of the Active Voice. Notice that in the Active Voice we have to make the subject of the action evidenced. / Mostraremos alguns exemplos para explicitar a estrutura da voz ativa. Perceba que, na voz ativa, temos que fazer com que o sujeito da ação seja evidenciado.

a) Igor slept for two hours at night.
Igor dormiu por duas horas a noite.

b) An ugly and big mouse walked the park.
Um enorme e horrível rato andou pelo parque.

c) He prepared his lunch in thirty minutes.
Ele preparou seu almoço em trinta minutos.

d) I watched all the episodes in one day.
Eu assisti a todos os episódios em um dia.

Look at the structure of the Active Voice: / Veja como é a estrutura da Voz Ativa:

• Subject + Verb + Object / Sujeito + Verbo + Objeto
• Example: / We (Subject) make (Verb) the dinner (Object).
  Exemplo: Nós (sujeito) fizemos (verbo) o jantar (objeto).

Generally we made the Active Voice using the intransitive verbs, although it can also has transitive verbs, but they are very rare. It occurs because the intransitive verb is an action verb, but it doesn't need direct object receiving the action, unlike the transitive verb. / Geralmente construímos a voz ativa usando verbos intransitivos, embora possa também haver verbos transitivos, mas seu uso é raro. Isso ocorre porque o verbo intransitivo é um verbo de ação e não necessita de um objeto direto que a receba, ao contrário do verbo transitivo.
